COVID-19 PROTOCOL
Office Policies
Here at Jin Choe Acupuncture + Wellness, ensuring your safety is one of our top concerns. As safety guidelines change with the progression of the pandemic recovery, we will adapt our protocols accordingly. Mask requirements differ from county to county.
Masks are optional at this time. If you would like your provider to wear a mask, please ask and we will be happy to accommodate you. If you do not have one upon arrival, we will provide one for you. Practitioners and any staff that will be in-office are fully vaccinated. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
STAFF AND PATIENT SCREENING
Pre-appointment screening questionnaires are sent out prior to the appointment. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms within the last 5 days, please call the office to reschedule your appointment or schedule a tele-health consultation. Screening for COVID-19 symptoms are as follows:
New cough*
New shortness of breath*
New fever, or feel feverish (100.1 oF or greater)
Fever within the past two days: Please do not consider yourself fever-free unless your temperature has been normal for two days without the use of fever-reducing medication (e.g. Tylenol, Ibuprofen Advil, etc.)
New chills, or repeated shaking with chills
New fatigue*
New sore throat*
New loss of taste or smell
New nasal congestion*
New muscle aches that are not caused by specific activity such as exercise*
New diarrhea*
Close contact with someone suspected/known to have COVID-19 in the last 21 days.
*cannot be attributed to another health condition
We require anyone to wait two weeks from the onset of the above symptoms or test negative for covid before coming in for an appointment. If temperature of 100.1 oF or greater we will ask you to reschedule your appointment. All staff and patients are asked to wash hands or use our provided sanitizer when entering the office.
SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION
All equipment is cleaned using EPA-registered disinfectant on tables, chairs, and counters. We disinfect all high touch areas including door handles and light switches. We constantly wash and sanitize hands throughout the day and in-between patients. At all times we have HEPA air filters running in the treatment room.
CONTACTLESS TRANSACTIONS
We will invoice you or charge your card on file for your appointment and any products purchased for anyone who prefers contactless transactions.
